I am amazed by the quality of the teas and everything else. (Even the paper of the note and list was very nice!) You can tell there was so much attention and care in the process of putting everything together, too. Also, the green tea was the best I’ve ever had!
As always, I am impressed with the subscription box from this shop! The jimgmai shou mini tong is tasty and the lion cup is very nice.
Loren’s work here is excellent and at an unbeatable price! This tea club included a hand dyed mat which has been a lovely travel mate the past month on the road. The young sheng is lively and invigorating. The rou gui and moonlight white are great daily drinkers for grandpa style or gongfu. The ganpu and red tea are familiar classics as well. All in wonderful quantities that leave room to experiment and explore these!
Blown away at the quality of tea, the generosity at the extra things thrown in and the constant open flow of communication with Loren. Every tea is top notch and the kakishibu tea mat is my new favorite tea accessory I use! Best tea subscription hands down.
I've been a member for a full year now and Loren's teas never dissapoint, he continuously sources exceptional and interesting teas for the club that punch well above the clubs cost. If you love tea and want a treat every quarter with some amazing teas and awesome teaware (this quarter was a handmade kakishibu tea mat) I cannot reccomend the MTC club highly enough! 多喝茶!
Awesome Tea Club! Tried all the teas and love them all. The 2011 Liu Bau rocks. Great value for the investment. With the bonus tulip cups, I now have enough matching cups for all the grandkids and great nieces and nephews. Just a tea junkie….
Great deal really loving the teas I received so far. White teas have a distinct herbal and are really pleasant for grandpa style brewing, though not quite complex enough for gongfu. This lack was certainly made up for by the Sheng Pu’er that was included. It has a lovely smoke and melon aroma with a distinct menghai bite. Aged just enough to be drinkable and pleasant without any of the harshness of young sheng. The liubao definitely checks the dank box and steep 5 is just 👌. Shui xian oolong is very similar to a darjeeling though it has a very light roast. Lovely aroma and surprisingly strong endurance. Biscuity and floral. The tea cups and mini tea pot, handwoven basket, trays and picks were all great quality! My 3 year old son loves the tea pot, it’s perfectly sized for him! The hand woven picking basket also fits him perfectly with the adjustable straps and he loves it! Come harvest season I plan on taking him to my friends garden and letting him use it as a forage basket❤️ Overall, excellent value and great quality tea, nothing exceptional like good aged tea but all solid daily drinking material!

First time trying the tea club, and I have been blown away by the selection. More than a few amazing bits of teaware and some crazy teas including a rougui that I've been wanting for ages, talk about serendipity! Highly recommend for anyone on the fence, great selection and quality. 喝茶!
I was blown away by the quality and over all dealing this tea box is. 150 bucks or 50 bucks a month is steeper than a W2T monthly subscription but the value is incredible. Lorem curates more than just fantastic teas, the extras are just as big a deal to me. The jianzhan cup, the usable micro teapot tea pet, the tea pick. All of good quality. If you are on the fence buy it! The leaves are very good quality. I'm really enjoying drinking through his picks this quarter and I believe you will too! If you've tried the Ba Xian (100g) or the Bai Mudan (68g) then you know you're already in for a treat. Plus, the three new teas are all great as well. Shou mei with Chen pi balls (80g) are fantastic - very well balanced, aged white tea with just the right amount of aged mandarin peel. The Jingmai 2015 Ancient tree Shai Hong red cake (200g) was nice and sweet with a deep and rich complex flavor, very nice. Finally, the 2016 Liu Bao brick (470g!) is over a pound of small leaf and young bud compressed aged Liu Bao with smells of earthy, mossy, cooked dark leafy vegetables and a little sweetness with a smooth finish and a light cooling feeling in the mouth. All that tea plus a nice, well built bamboo tray and a pick to break up those bricks and cakes neatly! And, then the .999 silver spoon/pick, as seen in Loren's videos - what an awesome cherry on top, a seriously awesome addition. Then, all of that was packaged with the beautiful bamboo tea picking basket. Wow! All of that, plus, you get a discount on regular orders with a membership. How could you not be stoked with all of that goodness? I'm seriously looking forward to next quarter and many more after that. I highly suggest tea club membership with My Tea Connection.

Incredible selection this time! Two absolutely amazing white teas, very nice stuff. A magnificent oolong tea, beautiful fragrance and so so tasty. A premium Sheng Puer Cake. Very traditional Liu Bao Dark tea, just amazing stuff. Also a bonus set of brand new beautiful creamy white porcelain tea cups, all together in a sweet cotton bag. Sorry for the late review. I found flu season early this year. So glad I reached out to Loren after a glitch on the website and that I found My Tea Connection. The quality and quantity of your teas blew me away. The little treasures were a great touch. The 2012 Shou Mei White Tea and the 2009 Smoked Liu Bao are my favorites. I love them all. I highly recommend My Tea Connection and the Tea Club. I’m hooked.
Wow! I'm beyond impressed. I kinda knew what to expect from the amazing videos that Loren puts out. As someone who loves tea and it's part of my every day life this subscription goes above and beyond especially for the real tea aficionado's. This was my first subscription so it came with the most amazingly crafted tea bag which is such an incredible piece of art in itself. So many other handy quality tools too. A board to break apart tea on, a nifty pick tool for breaking apart tea, a nice piece of bamboo for presenting your tea leaves, you get everything you need. An incredible straw hat cup was gifted this time too, beyond in love with it! The tea variety is also splendid. Fresh green tea from this year, ancient tree red tea, rock oolong tea!, yellow tea!!, and a nearly 500g brick of Liu bao dark tea. All I can say is I'm keeping my subscription and will be excitedly awaiting my next goodies.
