If you’re a fan of white tea—or even just thinking about getting into it—I highly recommend giving this 2025 Yue Guang Mei Ren a shot. Big shout-out to My Tea Connection for sending this one over because it is exceptionally good. It opens up with solid flavor notes of white peach, ripe apricot, and fresh floral nectar that deliver a rich, natural sweetness. It brews up great Gongfu style, holding its flavor through multiple steeps with zero bitterness, and it pairs awesome with dessert.
These leaves are super impressive! They're long, and twisty, and each one arrived whole. Also very hairy and delicious. The tea liquor had a great mouthfeel. Great longevity, too. 10/10 would recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing tea! Extremely fresh and delicious. The buds are super fuzzy and soft, the leaves are super furry and large. This tea like the bud only version is extremely fragrant. This one specifically has that added Chinese medicinal depth in the flavor which is very good. Such a smooth and enjoyable tea.

The flavor starts with notes of sweet cucumber and almond marzipan. Then with longer steeps, burnt sugar notes come forward with pleasing bitterness, like almond toffee.
