I LOVE this tea. The complexity of this tea is so fun to sip through. Vanilla, leather, pipe tobacco, caramel all blend so well together without it being overly smoky. I’m excited to cozy up with this one when the weather gets colder.

This tea is very unique, it reminds me of a roasted oolong, mixed with a light shou, with a sheng aftertaste. It's not too smokey either it just adds another flavor to the whole experience. I will be ordering a bigger bag next time.

This is BY FAR the MOST INTERESTING tea I have ever tired. It's downright exciting and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The flavor is out of control! It is intensely smokey in the best way possible. Only thing I can compare it to is like drinking an aged whiskey while your standing next to a bonfire or the meat smoker. (BTW, it's pairs excellent with any red meat) It's an experience of the senses. The actual tea flavor under the smoke is still there and provides a very nice balance. This tea feels like it's still alive and connected to nature. If you like spending time outdoors, I promise this tea is like a little gift to your inner spirit. The smell alone can remind you of a different time and place. If you've never had a smoked tea before, I highly recommend you try it!
I love this one for tossing in a thermos at work!(I prefer 4g/1400ml at 100C but your preference may differ.) After a few hours it makes nice thick broth that has a really tasty level of smoke and light sweetness in the back of the throat.
This is an interesting tea. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked it. The smokiness is definitely strong. After a few rounds of it, I found it was becoming my favorite of the 6 varieties I ordered. Once I was used to the taste, I just wanted more. Then I tried it with a little dab of honey or a sprinkle of sugar. Also excellent. Very complex flavor and aroma. It made me a better tea drinker.
